MGO (Macias Gini & O'Connell LLP) is seeking an Assurance Associate to join our Corporate Assurance team. You will build auditing skills while working on engagements for public and privately held companies across diverse industries.

Responsibilities include performing audit procedures, analyzing financial statements, and maintaining strong client relationships. CPA eligibility and a willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA eligible, actively pursuing CPA licensure, or licensed CPA.
• 0-1 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and adaptability with audit technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures, identify issues, and document findings in accordance with professional standards
• Analyze financial statements, internal controls, and business processes to support audit conclusions
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsive and professional communication
• Collaborate with team members to achieve engagement goals and deliver high-quality client service
• Develop knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and industry-specific accounting considerations
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Travel to client sites as needed
