Job summary

Vanguard seeks a Client Experience Consultant (CEC) to serve as the primary contact for complex existing clients, building strong relationships and proactively evaluating their financial goals. The role partners with Sales and Relationship Management to deliver end-to-end client solutions and articulate the value of digital tools.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant experience required.
• Three or more years in financial services, client engagement, or relationship management preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience presenting to clients or stakeholders in a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of financial services, recordkeeping, or institutional business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Relationship Management to support client meetings, presentations, and strategic initiatives.
• Present the organization's digital experience, including participant and plan sponsor platforms.
• Deliver engaging, tailored presentations and demonstrations based on client needs and feedback.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Relationship Managers, and Consultant teams.
• Support new business development and retention by enhancing the client experience and contributing to outcomes.
• Evaluate client needs through consultative interactions and align digital solutions to client goals.
• Resolve complex client inquiries related to products, services, or processes with critical thinking.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships through product, service, and industry knowledge.
• Contribute to strategic planning, business development activities, and special projects.
