The Intake Specialist plays a vital role in an immigration law firm by being the initial point of contact for potential clients. They are responsible for conducting intake interviews, gathering client information, assessing case eligibility, and providing guidance on the immigration process. The Intake Specialist ensures a smooth and efficient intake process to support the firm's client acquisition efforts.

This is an onsite job.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with potential clients to understand their immigration needs, assess their eligibility, and identify the appropriate legal services required.
  • Listen attentively, ask relevant questions, and provide expert guidance to build rapport and instill confidence in the firm's capabilities.
  • Effectively communicate the firm's unique value proposition, services, and benefits to potential clients.
  • Evaluate potential client cases based on eligibility criteria, complexity, and alignment with the firm's expertise.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients by providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy, and addressing their concerns and questions.
  • Utilize strong sales techniques to close potential clients and secure their cases with the firm.
  • Overcome objections, negotiate fees, and highlight the benefits of working with the firm to encourage clients to commit to the engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals to ensure a smooth transition of cases from the sales process to the legal team.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive information about the client and their case to facilitate efficient case management.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, consultations, and sales activities in the firm's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Generate sales reports, track conversion rates, and provide regular updates to management on sales performance and client acquisition.
Qualifications
  • All candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Must be fully bilingual - Spanish & English.
  • Must possess at least 1-2 years' experience working in a law firm, particularly in legal client acquisition, preferably in the immigration field.
  • Strong sales skills, including persuasive communication, negotiation, and objection handling.
  • Knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures to provide accurate guidance and advice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish trust and credibility with potential clients.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the sales process.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to potential clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive to meet or exceed sales targets and business objectives.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.

*Compensation range for this position is $48,750 - $93,750 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. This range is provided as a general guideline and does not guarantee a specific salary. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
