Job summary

Morgan Stanley in San Diego, CA, seeks a Registered Client Service Associate to support FAs/PWAs/teams daily. You will assist with client relationships, money movements, and account documentation while educating clients on digital tools and processes.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior licensing and industry experience are preferred as is a college degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Active Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA).
• Two or more years of industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of financial services products including equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accounts.
• Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Provide service coverage for a FA/PWA/team and cultivate client relationships.
• Execute money movement transactions on request of client or FA/PWA/team.
• Answer non-investment questions concerning client accounts and balances.
• Enter profile information or pre-fill account documents in clerical capacity.
• Educate or enroll clients in digital tools (MSOnline, eSign, eAuthorization).
• Onboard and maintain client accounts, collecting required documentation.
• Support FAs/PWAs/teams’ marketing strategies and business plans.
• Remain current on policies, procedures and new platforms.
