Job summary

TransUnion LLC is seeking a Client Executive - Auto Finance to manage a portfolio of major auto finance clients, develop executive relationships, and drive growth through thoughtful account planning.

This remote role requires coordinating cross-functional resources, identifying expansion opportunities, and advocating for clients to maximize long‑term partnership success; occasional in-person attendance may be required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales, consulting, or business development experience within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrate client engagement, prospecting, relationship building, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Partner across cross-functional teams within consumer lending/fintech to drive growth.
  • Communicate with confidence at all levels and build executive relationships.
  • Willingness to travel; based in the Southwest preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship with 5-6 of the largest auto finance clients and identify key decision makers.
  • Lead and coordinate resources for client-facing reviews and internal account planning sessions.
  • Facilitate client-facing and internal sales meetings with appropriate resource participation.
  • Collaborate with Industry Executives and partners to drive adoption of new product opportunities.
  • Advocate for clients by understanding their business and translating it into engagements with TransUnion.
  • Own the account planning process and determine strategic initiatives and priorities.
  • Review usage gaps and expansion opportunities with Client Value Executives.

Team Overview

The Client Executive - Auto Finance is responsible for managing a portfolio of major auto finance clients, developing executive relationships, and driving business growth through thoughtful account planning and customer advocacy. Adept at coordinating cross-functional resources, uncovering expansion opportunities, and aligning client needs with TransUnion solutions to maximize long-term partnership success. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Sales.This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for managing the overall relationship with 5-6 of the largest players in auto finance; identifying key decision makers, influencers, buyers and sponsors
  • Strong prospecting skills to identify net new prospective clients
  • Leading and coordinating resources for client-facing business reviews and internal account planning sessions
  • Facilitating both client facing and internal sales meetings; ensuring appropriate resource participation
  • Collaborating with Industry Executives and matrix partners to drive adoption of new product opportunities
  • Serving as your customer's advocate; deeply understanding their business model and position within the market, and converting this knowledge into successful engagements with TransUnion
  • Owning the account planning process, and determining the most strategic initiatives and priorities for your customers
  • Reviewing usage gaps and expansion opportunities alongside our Client Value Executives in support of customer retention and expansion initiatives
Required Knowledge and Experiences
  • 5+ years of sales, consulting, or business development experience within the financial services industry, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Manage and expand relationships within large, complex financial services organizations by identifying decision-makers, influencers, and opportunities to close new business.
  • Demonstrate strong client engagement skills, including prospecting, relationship building, negotiation, and successful deal closure.
  • Partner effectively across cross-functional teams while leveraging business acumen, particularly within consumer lending and fintech, to develop and execute strategic growth plans.
  • Communicate with confidence and professionalism at all levels, advocate for clients, operate with urgency, and build executive-level relationships
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university, business related preferred
  • Willingness to travel as needed and preferred to be based in the Southwest.

Pay Scale Information: The pay range for this position is $94,000.00 - $185,000 annually. This position is eligible for both base pay and commission earnings. TransUnion commission targets are generally 20% - 50% of base salary and may vary based on position. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
