Job summary

CLA is seeking a Client Engagement Consultant in its Talent Solutions - HR Systems & Payroll practice to build and maintain relationships with payroll implementation clients. You will serve as the main contact, understand client needs, and provide effective solutions.

You will collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies, manage projects, and ensure timely delivery from discovery to go-live. This role requires strong expertise in payroll/HCM and ADP Workforce Now.

Qualifications

• 7 years payroll or HCMS experience required.
• Bachelor's degree required; combination of education and experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements through sales and implementation lifecycle.
• Manage new client activities related to payroll implementation.
• Oversee handoff to payroll processing team and ensure milestones are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation.
• Document implementation processes and system customizations.
• Continuously improve implementation processes for efficiency and client satisfaction.

CLA is currently hiring for a Client Engagement Consultant for our Talent Solutions - HR Systems & Payroll (HRSP) practice. This role is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with payroll implementation clients. They serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and objectives, and providing appropriate solutions and support. They collaborate with internal teams to understand client needs, develop strategies, and deliver solutions that meet client objectives.

Essential Job Functions

• Lead team members, clients, and internal stakeholders through the entire sales and implementation process, including inbound marketing opportunities, discovery meetings, client demonstrations, and system setup.
• Manage new client activities as it relates to payroll implementation.
• Oversee project handoff to payroll processing team.
• Manage project timeline, ensuring that all milestones are met, and the implementation is completed on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation process.
• Oversee detailed documentation of the implementation process and any customizations made to the system.
• Continuously improve implementation processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 7 years payroll or HCMS experience required. ADP Workforce Now payroll experience is highly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
• Certifications: CPP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Technical Competencies: Strong understanding of HCM/payroll. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc). Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
