Job summary

Columbia Bank is hiring a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients in Chico, CA. You will perform standard teller transactions accurately and confidentially, while building relationships and uncovering client needs to offer appropriate products and services.

With guidance from branch leadership, you will balance cash, process deposits and withdrawals, and uphold bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions accurately and confidentially.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing and related services.
• Balance cash drawer and ensure ATM integrity.
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate bank products and services.
