Job summary

Nokia seeks a Client Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to serve as the principal technical advisor to a major CSP, guiding end-to-end solution architectures that align with the customer’s business goals and transformation agenda.

The role leads strategic engagements with CxOs and senior technologists, driving cross-BG architecture alignment across network, cloud, and IT domains to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in telecommunications with senior leadership roles.
• Deep expertise across RAN, Transport, Core, OSS/BSS and Cloud-Native architectures.
• Experience supporting Tier-1 operators in customer-facing technical leadership.
• Strong executive communication and ability to influence at CxO level.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Knowledge of AI, automation, advanced connectivity (5G-A/6G), cybersecurity, edge computing and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Act as Nokia's primary technical leader and trusted advisor for the customer, aligning tech with business goals.
• Define, govern, and communicate end-to-end architectures across network, cloud, and IT domains.
• Lead multi-year technology roadmaps and transformation plans aligned with customer needs.
• Engage with customer CxOs and engineering leaders to drive innovation and co-creation.
• Collaborate with Bell Labs, product & R&D, pre-sales, and delivery to align programs with customer needs.
• Support value-based selling with ROI/TCO models and technology assessments.
• Lead executive briefings, innovation workshops, and technical reviews.
• Monitor industry trends to inform architectural decisions and technology direction.
