Job summary

Chewy Vet Care, PLLC is hiring a full-time Client Concierge to join our Healthcare Practice Team in a practice built for compassionate pet care and client service.

You will greet pet parents, coordinate front-desk interactions, and support veterinarians and staff while using PIMS and following SOPs to ensure a smooth, caring experience. Weekend shifts and travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years in a customer-focused environment; veterinary experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to connect with clients with empathy and compassion.
  • Excellent social, verbal/written communication and observational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist pet parents; deliver the pet parent WOW experience.
  • Handle all patient intakes and front-end client-facing interactions with strong communication.
  • Provide customer service to support pet medical care and resolve issues promptly.
  • Proficiently use the Practice Information Management System (PIMS).
  • Follow SOPs and Standards of Care; assist with inventory needs.
  • Maintain clean workspaces; participate in training and compliance.

We are launching new veterinary practices and seeking a full-time Client Concierge to join our Healthcare Practice Team. As a clinical team member, you’ll work in a practice crafted from the ground up by veterinarians, equipped with advanced equipment and purpose-built technology to practice your best medicine and focus on patient and pet parent care. Responsibilities
  • embody Chewy Vet Care culture by collaborating with peers and delivering the pet parent WOW experience within the practice, providing stellar service and communication, and supporting veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and the practice manager.
  • Handle all patient intakes and front-end client-facing interactions using strong social and communication skills to engage actively with pet parents.
  • Provide customer service to assist pet parents with their pet’s medical care and resolve issues promptly.
  • Proficiently use the Practice Information Management System (PIMS) and other integrated technology for the role.
  • Understand and follow the practice’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standards of Care (SOC).
  • Act responsibly with regard to pharmacy holdings.
  • Assist the Practice Manager with communicating inventory needs.
  • Maintain clean workspaces after every patient interaction.
  • Participate in self-development courses and Chewy Vet Care required compliance training.
  • Perform related duties as directed by management.
  • May be required to work weekends; position may require some travel.
What You'll Need
  • 1-2 years in a customer-focused environment; veterinary experience is preferred.
  • Strong ability to connect with clients with empathy and compassion.
  • Excellent social, verbal/written communication, observational, and analytical skills.
  • Passionate about helping people and pets with empathy and outstanding customer service.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, self-starter environment.
Physical job requirements
  • Standing or walking up to 80% of a shift.
  • Frequently lift up to 50–70 pounds with optional team lift.
  • Occasionally lift greater than 70 pounds using a team lift.
  • Stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel.
