Job summary

Butterfly Effects, a Deerfield Beach–based pediatric ABA provider, is seeking a Client Collections Specialist to ensure timely payor invoicing and accurate payment collection. You will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve denials, verify benefits, and maintain excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates bring a High School Diploma, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented, organized approach.

Responsibilities

• Collecting accurate payments and resolving outstanding payor balances.
• Consistent, accurate, comprehensive, and timely invoicing on all assigned clients and responding to payor inquiries.
• Verify patients benefits for ABA Therapy in-network or out-of-network to assist with proper client collections.
• Identify and address concerns before they become problems and propose solutions.
• Ensure compliance with insurance and HIPAA regulation.
• Work with field and office staff to ensure client satisfaction.

What Would You Be Doing?

• The Client Collections Specialist will join a team that strives to maintain customer satisfaction through excellent customer service and timely invoicing of payor responsibility.
• Collecting accurate payments and finding resolutions to outstanding payor account balances
• Consistent, accurate, comprehensive, and timely invoicing on all assigned clients, as well as responding to incoming calls and mail from payors regarding outstanding account balances
• Verify patients benefits for ABA Therapy either in-network, or out of network to assist with proper client collections and claim follow up.
• Identify and address concerns before they become problems, and to propose solutions to concerns.
• Ensuring compliance with insurance and HIPAA regulation
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate a highly organized approach to managing multiple priorities while employing high levels of professionalism, responsiveness, accuracy, critical thinking, a with a team friendly attitude
• Work with the field staff and office staff to ensure client satisfaction.

What Do You Bring to the Role?

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of claim denials, the ability to read and understand explanation of benefits (EOBs).
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including active listening.
