Qualifications

• Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations affecting insurance sales.
• Some computer experience, including effectively using Microsoft Office.
• Must already have or be willing to obtain an insurance license.
• Knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer's needs.
• Implement marketing strategies including cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while maintaining a portfolio.
• Listen to clients to evaluate needs and life-stage priorities before presenting insurance plan options.
• Keep logs of sales databases, client reports, and bookkeeping records; share progress with stakeholders.
• Stay updated on insurance rules and policies to amend programs for clients as needed.
