WINGS Recovery in Carlsbad, CA, seeks a dedicated Client Care Technician for our Women’s Residential Program. This full-time role supports clients, delivers daily care, coordinates with the treatment team, and helps run the program smoothly.

Responsibilities include maintaining boundaries, crisis intervention, guiding independent living skills, and coordinating with community resources. Must be 18+, HS diploma or GED, and prior direct client work preferred; valid driver’s license and background

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Education: High School diploma or GED; coursework in counseling, psychology, or social work preferred.
• One year full-time experience working directly with clients in a program serving people with mental illness; Plan of Supervision may substitute.
• Knowledge of client-centered treatment principles and medications/interventions preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred; valid driver’s license and insurance; DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance required.

Client Care Technician (Women's Program)

Full Time Clinical Carlsbad, CA, US

WINGS Recovery is hiring for Client Care Technicians in Carlsbad, CA.

We have multiple positions available as we have opened a new house for our clients! This position will work within our (Women's Residential Program at Wings).

The Client Care Technician is responsible for providing direct service to clients, and for facilitating the smooth day-to-day operation of the program. The Client Care Technician collaborates as a member of the multidisciplinary team (Treatment Team) to deliver effective treatment.

Our Client Care Technicians work directly with the clients through interaction, daily routines, checking vitals, and distributing their daily meds.

Shift Schedules:

• Friday-Monday 4:00pm-12:30am
• Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-4:30am
• Overnight Tuesday-Saturday 12:00am-8:30am
• Overnight Sunday-Thursday 12:00am-8:30am
• Overnight Friday-Monday 12:00am-8:30am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Attainment of at least 18 years of age.
• Education: High School graduate or possess a GED. Coursework in counseling, psychology, or social work preferred.
• Experience: One year full-time experience working directly with clients in a program serving people with mental illness. An approved Plan of Supervision may be substituted for one year full-time experience.
• Experience in any type of recovery environment is a plus.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of and belief in the principles of client centered treatment. Knowledge of medications and interventions preferred.
• Special Skills: Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player. Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance. Hiring is contingent upon receiving DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption, a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508), a TB test, and clearance on an employment physical. Current First Aid and CPR certification is preferred prior to employment.
