Ethos Veterinary Health's Veterinary Specialty Hospital of North County in San Marcos, CA is seeking a Client Care Specialist to be the calm, confident first contact for families, coordinating appointments and guiding clients through check-in, emergency cases, and discharge.

You will join a team of veterinarians and specialists, handling high call volumes, billing, and client communications, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of veterinary hospital experience in General Practice, Emergency, or Specialty.
  • Experience in a veterinary hospital environment; animal handling alone does not meet requirement.
  • Strong veterinary client service, reception, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, compassionately, and confidently with clients and veterinary professionals.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty and emergency veterinary environment.
  • Proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork and client service.

Responsibilities

$20.50–$23.50/hour, based on experience

As a Client Care Specialist, Veterinary Receptionist, or Veterinary Client Service Representative, you'll support families during routine visits as well as urgent and emotional situations.

You'll work closely with veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, and other hospital teams while managing a fast-paced front desk, high call volumes, patient flow, financial transactions, and ongoing client communication.

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will

What You Bring
  • 2+ years of veterinary hospital experience required in General Practice, Emergency, or Specialty veterinary medicine.
