Job summary

Addiction Recovery Care, LLC is seeking a Client Care Specialist to assist in client orientation and satisfaction during admission and aftercare, while coordinating with security and medical staff.

You will liaison across clinical teams, monitor safety on campus, assist during medication passes, complete daily checklists, and help maintain a supportive recovery environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Substance abuse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison to all areas of client care, medical staff, admission staff, nursing staff and clinical staff.
• Assists nursing staff during medication passes.
• Ensures general safety and security of campus facilities and grounds by observation and patrolling interior and exterior areas on foot and in a vehicle.
• Monitors video surveillance footage and responds to security-related concerns in a timely manner.
• Completes a daily security checklist per shift when assigned.
• Supports daily operations within the facility (clinical groups, meeting attendance, medication pass).
• Monitors and maintains a safe recovery environment within the facility and living quarters.
• Directly assists and supports Medical, Admission, Nursing, and Clinical staff ensuring a seamless transition for clients to and from detox.
• Performs follow-ups to referral sources as directed by supervisor.
• Develops and assists in the ongoing timely preparation of accurate written reports detailing and monitoring individual progress against monthly, quarterly and annual goals and participates in the presentation of reports when applicable.
• Orients the client upon admission.
• Multitasks with attention to detail.
• Interacts with staff and clients in a professional manner.
• Participates in staff and state regulatory training as required.
• Communicates with applicable departments and assists in ensuring the safety of clients.
• Conducts drug screens, aids in self-administering medication, and monitors vital signs.
• Adheres to program policies and procedures while maintaining a professional code of ethics.
