Brooklyn Community Services is seeking a Client Care Coordinator / Case Manager Supervisor for the Family Shelter, overseeing a team of case managers and ensuring compliant, high-quality services for families experiencing homelessness.
The role conducts supervisory sessions, manages caseloads, coordinates with housing specialists and DHS staff, and contributes to reporting and program evaluation. A Master’s in Social Work with 3+ years of leadership is required, with some evening hours possible.

Location: Family Shelter Site
Status/Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday (some evening hours may be required)
Salary Range: $75,000 - $75,000
Brooklyn Community Services (BCS) operates family shelters providing safe, supportive, and dignified transitional housing for families with children experiencing homelessness. Our shelter programs are guided by a trauma-informed, strengths-based philosophy and offer a comprehensive continuum of services—including case management, housing placement, recreation, and supportive programming—to help families achieve stability and permanent housing as quickly as possible. The Case Manager Supervisor provides direct supervision and clinical guidance to a team of case managers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliance-driven case management services to families in the shelter. This role monitors caseloads and documentation quality, facilitates supervisory sessions, and serves as a liaison between frontline staff and senior leadership.
