Job summary

Truist is seeking a Part Time Universal Banker to provide exceptional client service and support cash handling and transactions. You will be cross-trained to assist with outbound calls and IRM activities, delivering a distinctive client experience.

You'll educate clients on digital banking, participate in branch operations, and maintain compliance with internal controls and policies. Weekend availability and travel may be required as part of branch staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and work weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling and courteous conversation while performing transactions and uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Advance product knowledge by attending training and meetings and web-based learning.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
