Qualifications

• Typically between 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable.
• Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
• Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales role with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.
• Passionate commitment to helping customers and delivering personal customer experience.
• A focus on results in a consultative sales and team-based environment.
• Resourceful self-starter with courage and confidence to approach customers.
• Readiness to collaborate and work in different capacities as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and connections.
• Aptitude for listening, problem solving, and adapting to new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities that grow the customer’s relationship with BMO.
• Welcomes and guides customers in branch and explains digital/self-serve options for easy banking.
• As a lobby leader, conducts client conversations about banking services and channels.
• Meets customer transaction needs with seamless execution.
• Reviews customer profiles to identify opportunities and address needs.
• Supports branch operations such as inventory, requests, files, and opening/closing activities.
• Probes to understand personal banking and credit card needs and applies marketing programs.
• Keeps information organized and accurate for customers.
