Client Advocate – Part-Time (32 hrs/week)

Conifer, CO | $24–$29/hour | Flexible Schedule | Benefits Eligible

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking? PeaceWorks, Inc. is seeking a Client Advocate to join our team and help us provide trauma-informed support and safety at our Mountain Peace Shelter in Bailey for those navigating some of life’s most difficult moments.

This role is ideal for someone who is calm in a crisis, resourceful, and committed to survivor-centered care. The Client Advocate supports both residential and non-residential clients, helping them access shelter, safety planning, case management, legal advocacy, and essential services. You’ll also help ensure our shelter and SafePets program are safe, clean, and welcoming spaces for healing.

What We Offer:

$24–$29/hour based on experience

32 hours/week with flexible scheduling

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct crisis support through our 24-hour SafeLine

Complete shelter intakes and safety plans

Offer advocacy, goal-setting, and resource navigation for clients

Maintain safety, cleanliness, and basic facility upkeep

Track documentation for services and grant compliance

Participate in team meetings and trainings

What You Bring:

A background in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred

Experience supporting survivors and/or in residential settings preferred

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

A calm, non-judgmental approach to trauma-informed care

Must pass a background check, hold a valid driver’s license, and be CPR/First Aid certified (training provided)
