Christianson PLLP seeks a Client Advisory Accounting Staff to partner with clients and internal teams, delivering accurate financial information, meaningful analysis, and proactive advisory support. The role supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and consulting projects to help clients understand performance and make informed business decisions.

With strong technical skills and effective communication, you’ll contribute to long-term client success and business growth.

Qualifications

• 4-year accounting degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in Agriculture preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and other staff.
• Strong in problem-solving, analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and being detail-oriented.
• Can work independently but also work effectively with a team. Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and Sage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, analysis, and review of financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Help clients maintain timely and accurate financial records including recording of transactions in ledgers, preparing and reviewing trial balances and financial statements.
• Identify trends, variances, and areas of concern within client financial information and communicate findings to leaders.
• Assist clients with accounting technology solutions, including software implementation, training, troubleshooting, and optimization of QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage and related applications.
• Support advisory engagements by helping clients strengthen accounting processes, improve financial reporting workflows, establish efficient operating procedures and address business challenges through practical, value-added recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to develop process improvements that increase efficiency and improve client service delivery.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships through proactive and responsive communication.
• Stay current on accounting standards, industry trends, technology solutions and firm processes.
