Job summary

Celerity is a Madison-based accounting firm focused on practical, real-world advisory for clients. You’ll implement NetSuite-based month-end close, build automations, and improve internal workflows while collaborating with client teams and owners.

The role emphasizes hands-on accounting, system enhancements, and a strong bias for automation and efficiency to deliver clear financial guidance.

Qualifications

4+ years accounting experience, including public accounting or CAS.
Solid close, reconciliation, and accrual experience.
Strong problem solving and proactive solution mindset.
Clear judgement on financial data for clients.
Interest in automation and efficiency, with a concrete example.

Responsibilities

Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and accrual-basis accounting for a set of clients in NetSuite.
Identify repetitive work across clients and fix it with templates, imports, saved searches, workflows, or Zapier/Make.
Improve NetSuite reports, dashboards, and standard setups.
Lead the systems side of new client onboardings and cleanups.
Document workflows and train the team.
Collaborate directly with clients and their teams.
Contribute to process improvements using AI tools.
