Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Client Advisor to collaborate with producers and clients on commercial lines programs, delivering strategic guidance and proactive service. You will manage renewals and cultivate ongoing relationships to identify opportunities for growth.

The role requires strong client communication, organization, and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a hybrid work environment. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years in commercial lines are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years in commercial lines with proven relationship management.
• 3+ years of client management responsibilities.
• Experience establishing strategy and direction for commercial programs.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects with timely and accurate deliverables.
• Strong organizational, project planning and management, analytical and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent client relationship building and presentation skills.
• Superior listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• State Property/Casualty insurance license required.

A day in the life.

As our Client Advisor on the Business Insurance team, you’ll work closely with producers and clients to develop effective commercial lines programs. Client Advisors provide strategic and tactical consulting on an assigned book of business by forming effective business relationships with both carriers and clients. This includes but is not limited to proactive client service, managing the renewal process and providing ongoing problem resolution. The Client Advisor also supports development of new business opportunities through prospects and existing relationships.

• In-depth working knowledge of commercial lines with 5+ years of industry experience and demonstrated relationship management skills with 3+ years of client management responsibilities.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,700 to $120,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
