The ideal candidate holds an active CPA, has 6+ years in CAS or similar managerial roles—preferably in public accounting—and demonstrates strong BD, leadership, and GAAP acumen.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 6+ years of CAS or similar managerial experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Proven success in business development and cross-selling services.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and its practical application.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online/Desktop experience; additional platforms a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CAS practice to deliver timely, accurate, high‑quality client service.
• Manage CAS engagements including bookkeeping, reporting, and compliance.
• Review and sign off on compilation and preparation engagements.
• Oversee preparation of personal property tax, payroll, and sales tax filings.
• Evaluate client accounting systems and internal controls; drive improvements.
• Enhance CAS processes for efficiency and scalability; mentor staff.
