Job summary

CFS is seeking a Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager to lead and grow a developing practice in a client-facing advisory role. You will oversee bookkeeping and payroll across multiple client accounts, review statements, and build strong relationships with clients.

You will manage a small team, identify opportunities for service expansion, and partner with tax leadership to shape department structure and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll with oversight responsibilities.
• Prior team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong financial statement and general ledger expertise.
• CPA, EA, or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping and payroll operations across multiple client accounts.
• Review financial statements, payroll, and reporting for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and develop a small team of bookkeeping/payroll staff.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships.
• Identify opportunities for service expansion and support business development.
