Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Palo Alto (hybrid) seeks a Client Accounting Coordinator to provide client accounting analysis, billing and collection support to partners. You will coordinate activities for assigned partners and practice areas, ensuring timely invoicing and accurate remittances, while collaborating with the Client Accounting Supervisor.

The role requires strong knowledge of billing systems, exceptional analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum one year billing and collection experience with some account analysis functions.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handles complex billing and client analysis projects.
• Manages assigned Partner(s) INV (Unbilled and AR) balances.
• Reviews outstanding INV reports and prevents stale or uncollectable INV.
• Performs client inquiries with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Prepares bills and internal forms with backups for AR write-offs and retainer applications.
• Documents meetings with partners for follow-up actions.
• Maintains partner/client profiles and updates task lists for billing and collections.
