Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

The Client Accountant is responsible for the daily bookkeeping and accounting for their client portfolio. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment, managing multiple clients and tasks, with no "one size fits all" approach. This position reports to the Controller and interacts frequently with the CEO.

This role demands a high attention to detail. If you are not detail-oriented, this position may not be suitable for you.

Responsibilities

• Execute deliverables per client statements of work
• Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, collections
• Process bank and credit card transactions
• Maintain schedules and tracking spreadsheets
• Handle sales tax processes and filings
• Communicate with clients and external parties via email, phone, and video, acting as an extension of the client
• Participate in monthly financial close
• Develop and maintain consistent accounting processes
• Attend client meetings and provide insights
• Use task management software to ensure timely work delivery; track time as needed
• Keep management informed of client account status and issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Effective time management and multi-tasking abilities
• Client-facing experience, comfortable with video and phone calls
• Ability to manage multiple technology platforms (accounting, payroll, communication tools)
• Remote work setup with dedicated professional space, noise-free, pet-free; FL candidates preferred
• High-speed internet access; equipment provided
• Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000, based on experience
• 100% remote with no travel
• Company contributes 15% of salary to 401(k), no matching
