Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Client Account Services - Global Banking & Payments Account Vice President. Responsibly includes leading the data management function for the applicable line of business and assisting in the delivery of business results and deliverables.

As a Senior Data Management Leader in JPMorgan Chase, you exhibit both depth and breadth of knowledge regarding critical data elements related to client reference data. The incumbent will be responsible for leading, driving, and contributing to reference data transformation initiatives and providing support for various projects through strong partnership with Product, Operations, and Technology counterparts.

Job Summary:

Responsible for leading the data management function for the applicable line of business and assisting in the delivery of business results and deliverables. Engages and partners with stakeholders on architecture design, simplifies operating models, defines, and implements data quality standards using Data Analytics, Data Governance, and Data Structuring. Continues service delivery with high standards while undergoing transformation. Cross-references client accounts to party identifiers to support data enrichment. Oversees, governs, and manages client reference data to reduce data risks and enhance decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manages multiple resources, responsible for important results within a function or unit, with cross-functional, direct, or indirect people management authority. May be a manager of other managers or individual contributors. Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert with mastery of a specialization and broad exposure to business functions.
  2. Supports day-to-day operations such as Account Opening & Maintenance, Settlement Instructions & Cash Call Backs, Static Data Maintenance, and Entitlements.
  3. Partners closely with functional leads and drives strategic initiatives to ensure data quality, completeness, and controls, impacting trade STP and client experience.
  4. Uses data analytics to identify process improvement opportunities and mitigate risks across post-trade processing. Applies innovative and design thinking techniques to enhance efficiency, scale, and resilience of operations.
  5. Promotes adoption of automation tools to increase capacity and reduce manual touches, driving operational efficiency projects through partnerships with Ops and Tech, leveraging solutions like Automation Anywhere, UIPath, Alteryx, Tableau.
  6. Reviews key metrics to assess operational risk, workflow capacity, system and team efficiency.
  7. Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation with a results-driven mindset. Manages resources and expenses within the targeted budget.
  8. Develops others through coaching and mentoring; provides ongoing feedback and is open to constructive criticism. Respected as a leader in skill, knowledge, and effectiveness.
  9. Manages influence both upward and downward within the department. Engages effectively with diverse internal groups.
  10. Proactively identifies potential issues, escalates as necessary, and fosters a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
  11. Monitors the effectiveness of control policies and standards, enforces compliance, and promotes a risk-aware culture.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  2. Extensive industry knowledge and experience.
  3. Ability to create executive summaries and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  4. Proficiency in writing policies, standards, and procedures.
  5. Excellent clarity, conciseness, and professionalism in writing.
  6. Familiarity with financial products and services such as Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities, Equities, Prime Brokerage, and Clearing.
  7. Strong people management and development skills.
