The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a part-time Client Services Coordinator in Fairbanks. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering client services for the family services ministry, engaging volunteers, and ensuring access to Salvation Army resources.
You will work under the Fairbanks Corps Officers, handling applications, data entry, outreach, and community partnerships to support families in need while maintaining confidential records and reporting per grant requirements.

Client Services Coordinator
Corps/Department: The Salvation Army, Fairbanks Corps
Reports To: Fairbanks Corps Officers
FLSA Status: Part-Time/Non-Exempt
The Client Services Coordinator's primary role is providing overall coordination and implementation of client services of Fairbanks Corps family services ministry. This position will provide daily services to individuals requiring all aspects of The Salvation Army assistance. The Client Services Coordinator will provide opportunities for community volunteers to support Salvation Army programs and ministries.
Work is performed in a heated and ventilated institution setting. Noise level is low. Exposure to extreme temperatures is not a requirement of this position.
Must be able to understand, follow and give both written and oral instructions. The employee must be able to use speech and hearing for ordinary and telephone conversation.
Must be able to perform simple calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and apply concepts such as ratios and percentages in practical situations.
Must be creative, self-motivated, organized, flexible, and possess leadership skills.
Must complete the online course for this area and pass the Background Check required by The Salvation Army for employment.
