Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a high-complexity CLIA lab.
  • Active certification required (MLT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MLT(AMT) or MT(AMT), MT(AAB)).
  • Hands-on experience with qPCR and nucleic acid extraction.

Responsibilities

  • Run the MPS2 test, including RNA extraction, reverse transcription, and qPCR.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with CLIA/CAP guidelines.
  • Document procedures, results, deviations, and quality control activities.

Lynx Dx is a fast-growing molecular diagnostics startup transforming prostate cancer detection through cutting-edge biomarker based testing. Our flagship product, MyProstateScore 2.0 (MPS2), is poised to redefine non-invasive prostate cancer screening nationwide. As we prepare for significant expansion, we're hiring a certified Lab Technician to join our high-complexity, CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited lab On-Site in Ann Arbor, MI.

CLIA/CAP Laboratory Technician I Principal Responsibilities:

  • Run the MPS2 test, including RNA extraction, reverse transcription, and qPCR
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with CLIA/CAP guidelines
  • Handle specimens and operate lab instruments
  • Document all procedures, results, deviations, and quality control activities in accordance with lab SOPs
  • Troubleshoot issues, and support process improvements
  • Perform other duties as directed

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in biology, medical lab science, or related field
  • Active certification (required):
    • MLT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP)
    • MLT(AMT) or MT(AMT)
    • MT(AAB)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a high-complexity CLIA lab
  • Hands-on experience with qPCR and nucleic acid extraction

Qualifications:

  • Experience with molecular diagnostics or LDT workflows
  • Familiarity with LIMS, qPCR data software (e.g., QuantStudio, CFX Manager)
  • Background in automation or high-throughput testing
