Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Systems Development Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise IT systems at our Cleveland headquarters. You will translate strategy into actionable projects, guide cross-functional teams, and drive complex IT initiatives across the software lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on leadership (30–40%), strong stakeholder communication, and experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, REST APIs and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or 10+ years IT experience in lieu of a degree.
• 7+ years of IT experience with software engineering or application development leadership.
• Proven experience managing hybrid onshore/offshore teams and balancing workload.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and software components.
• Develop, modify and execute policies; guide lifecycle of web-centric applications.
• Oversee budgets, objectives, and performance reviews; mentor staff and succession planning.
• Collaborate with senior management to drive strategic IT projects and modernization.
