Job summary

Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC seeks a Clery Compliance Officer to oversee the college’s Clery Compliance program, including crime reporting, statistics gathering, and annual security reporting. You will coordinate with Campus Police, Campus Partners, and designated CSAs to ensure timely and accurate reporting across Clery geography.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related experience; CCCO certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with Clery geography and Annual Security Report.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reporting from Campus Police, Student Affairs, Athletics, Residence Life, Faculty, Greek Life, Title IX, and Health/Counseling leaders and all CSAs.
• Track reportable incidents from on-campus property, residence halls, non-campus sites, public property, and college-sponsored travel.
• Maintain accurate records, respond quickly to reportable matters, and support Timely Warnings and emergency notifications.
• Train CSAs so they know what to report, when to report, and how to document it.
• Build compliance habits that support annual audits, internal reviews, and institutional accountability.
• Apply and understand the 2026 Clery updates for hazing, cyberstalking, online harassment, and other digital incidents.
• Work directly with Campus Police/Public Safety Chief and other necessary departments in urgent or serious-threat situations.
• Report directly to the Chief of Police
• Familiarity with CSA training, Clery geography, and Annual Security Report preparation.
• CCCO (Certified Clery Compliance Officer) certification or other advanced compliance training.

Position Summary

The CSA Coordinator/ Clery Compliance Officer oversees the college’s Clery Compliance program, including crime reporting, statistics collection, police coordination, training, documentation, and Annual Security Reporting. The Clery compliance officer works closely with Campus Police, Campus Partners, and designated Campus Security Authorities to ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting across Clery geography.
