Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Lithia Springs, GA is hiring a Warehouse Clerk for weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday, 6:00am–6:00pm).

You will support daily operations by processing orders, updating inventory in our Warehouse Management System, and ensuring accuracy of data entry. Ideal candidates have basic computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook) and can read and write English, with up to 1 year warehouse experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English, including reading, understanding and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed
• Experience entering and maintaining information in a WMS

What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English, including reading, understanding and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of warehouse experience

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Carry objects 3-5 feet weighing up to 50 lbs, routinely
• Stand for prolonged periods of time >4 hours
• Walk continuously for more than 10,000 steps (4-5) miles per day
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull objects of various shapes and sizes in team lift.
