Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Clerk in Lithia Springs, GA (Mon-Thu, 4:00pm–2:00am). You will process orders, maintain inventory in the WMS, perform data entry, and handle shipping and documentation to ensure smooth operations.

A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for success at this rapidly growing global logistics leader. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of warehouse experience, and the ability to work a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Availability for a flexible schedule with possible overtime.
• Experience entering and maintaining information in a WMS.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Process orders and maintain inventory in a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Perform data entry tasks
• Research and correct transaction errors
• Handle domestic and international shipping documents

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English, including reading, understanding and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel and Outlook)

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed
• Experience entering and maintaining information in a WMS

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Carry objects 3-5 feet weighing up to 50 lbs, routinely
• Stand for prolonged periods of time >4 hours
• Walk continuously for more than 10,000 steps (4-5) miles per day
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull objects of various shapes and sizes in team lift.
