A leading cruise line is seeking a Refund Processing Specialist to manage reservations and sail & sign refunds. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, conducting research, and processing payments. Candidates should have at least 2 years of customer service experience and strong analytical skills. Job description

Responsible for the processing of Reservation and Sail & Sign refunds including travel agency commission payments, and the handling of related tasks. The role requires interactions with other teams within the company, and communication with some external vendors. The position requires good communication, organizational and computer skills.

Essential Functions:

  • Respond to Refund Inbox inquires.
  • Account/booking research and journal entry preparation.
  • Review check / electronic payments.
  • Perform daily refund processing for Reservations and Sail & Sign.
  • Abandoned Property processing.
  • Provide phone customer service for Revenue Accounting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate’s Degree

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Analytical & auditing skills, strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel)

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Travel: No or very little travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as “remote.” As a remote role, it allows employees to work full-time from their home. It may also require regular travel to Carnival headquarters in Miami, FL for in-office collaboration.
