Responsibilities

1. Wait on customers promptly, courteously, accurately, and efficiently, using suggestive selling techniques and maintaining high-quality customer relations.
2. Prepare, handle, stock, and store all department products, ensuring proper rotation (first-in/first-out) and storage in appropriate refrigeration.
3. Follow regular cleaning schedules for equipment and storage cases.
4. Operate equipment such as scales, slicers, mixers, ovens, fryers, and other tools, ensuring familiarity and proper use.
5. Assist customers verbally and physically, follow recipes, and keep company recipes confidential.
6. Perform freshness checks, recondition products, and operate equipment like hydraulic balers.
7. Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning as required.
8. Operate telephones and intercoms, practicing proper etiquette.
9. Follow all company policies outlined in the employee handbook and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• Basic arithmetic skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Physical capability to lift and stack up to 50 pounds and reach/store items up to 6 ft high.
