  • Schedule: PRN, Day Shift, 6am-2:30pm – Every other weekend
  • Starting Pay: $15.40 minimum (Offers are based on years of experience and equity for this role.)
  • Shift Differentials: Evenings-0.70, Nights-0.85, Weekends-0.70
  • Location: St. Louis University Hospital-St. Louis, Missouri
Job Summary:

Receives and processes incoming supplies and equipment, maintains inventory of supplies, and completes department billing process.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA (Percent of Time)

Essential Functions: The following are essential job accountabilities and performance criteria:

Position Accountabilities:

  1. Distribution: Receives requests for supplies, selects stock from inventory, and distributes supplies within departmental time standards (1, 5) 30%
  2. Receiving: Performs receiving functions and assists in the movement of incoming supplies (1, 5) 20%
  3. Inventory: Maintains General Storeroom inventory (1, 5) 10%
  4. Safety/Infection Control: Practices according to safety and infection control policies. (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) 5%
  5. Service: Provides service excellence to hospital customers by delivering timely, high-quality care in a courteous and respectful manner. (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) 10%
  6. Quality Improvement (QI): Incorporates Quality Assessment into daily work. (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) 5%

Job Specifications:

  • MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Preferred supply distribution experience
  • WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposed to chemicals and possibly toxic substances
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to push/pull or move/lift heavy equipment and supplies up to 100 lbs or more, and prolonged walking/standing.
