  • Teamwork: Communicate professionally with staff and partners.

Responsibilities

We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Clerk – Label Room.

This position is responsible for determining, preparing, and printing all critical labels produced in-house, ensuring they are accurate, available on time, and meet the needs of all Manufacturing departments.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Determine label requirements for the Assembly, Blow Molding, Injection Molding, and Conversion departments based on production schedules.
  • Print the required quantities of UPCs, case codes, pallet labels, and import stickers for each model scheduled during the applicable production period using Loft-Ware software.
  • Generate and maintain reports within the Oracle reporting system to identify label requirements for the Assembly, Injection Molding, and Blow Molding departments.
  • Print work orders through the Oracle system as required.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all Production Schedulers to accurately determine and fulfill label requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate minimum and maximum inventory levels of raw labels and ribbons to ensure adequate supplies are available to support production needs.
  • Work effectively in a high-traffic and noisy manufacturing environment.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • English Language Skills: Ability to read, speak, write, and comprehend English effectively.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds multiple times throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional holidays, based on business and production needs.
  • Ability to perform quality work accurately and meet established deadlines with or without direct supervision.
  • Ability to communicate and interact professionally with employees, customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:
  • Demonstrated computer skills and the ability to learn and utilize various software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial products, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing-related software.
Physical Demands & Conditions
(Applicable to Igloo Operators, Technicians, Leaders, and Other Roles in Manufacturing)

Standing & Walking
Roles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing.

Postural Requirements
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks.

  • Operator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Technician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts.
  • Where possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used.

Fine Motor Skills & Tool Use
Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision.

Visual Requirements
Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation.

Environmental Conditions
  • Work is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100–120°F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter.
  • High noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task.
