Position Summary

Under general direction of the Lead, the Customer Integration Specialist I plays a critical role in ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the region. This role is essential to customer profitability and is responsible for maintaining and updating all customer information in the IT systems (SAP/Star) for the assigned region.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Collect and validate data for New Account Packets.
  • Load customer data into SAP/Star using either New Account Packets or spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate with sales reps and customers to implement retail pricing strategies, considering timing and profit margin impact.
  • Coordinate with customers or category managers on item blocking strategies and implement independently.
  • Generate customer-specific pricing reports.
  • Troubleshoot Risk Evaluation Management System (REMS) program setups for regulated products (e.g., Isotretinoin, Clozaril, Clozapine, Fentanyl); make recommendations based on findings.
  • Handle issues related to item qualifier programs based on definitions and eligibility.
  • Collect, validate, and ensure licensing compliance (DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, Controlled Substances, Medical Devices).
  • Ensure all customer setups comply with the CSRA Due Diligence process.
  • Use pricing tools (e.g., COGS, program price codes, charge groups) to optimize company profit.
  • Define and maintain setup information such as chain ID, owner ID, business type, substitution options, parent/child relationships, and output types.
  • Provide guidance to the contract department during new customer setup to ensure data accuracy.
  • Conduct audits and generate reports to verify key customer data fields.
  • Perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure ongoing data accuracy.
  • Follow approval protocols for critical business fields (e.g., COGS).
  • Document all data setups, changes, and approvals in compliance with company procedures.
  • Coordinate new product introductions and pricing with the National Replenishment Center (NRC) and Supply Chain teams.
  • Resolve customer issues by investigating and analyzing root causes.
  • Support regional associates with problem resolution and workload overflow.
  • Communicate with internal departments (e.g., Delivery, Programs, Contracts, Sales, Finance, CSRA) at all levels.
  • Own and manage all aspects of the customer file, including contracts/PVAs, routing, program compliance, and pricing setups.
  • Verify authorization for account maintenance, including GPO affiliations, ProGenerics compliance, alternate service maintenance, and output settings.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
