Job Description

1. Wait on customers in a prompt, courteous, accurate, and efficient manner, using suggestive selling techniques and maintaining high-quality customer relations.
2. Prepare, handle, stock, and store all department products.
3. Rotate all department products on a first-in / first-out basis.
4. Ensure all products are stored in proper refrigeration.
5. Stock products within the guidelines established by the department manager.
6. Follow the regular cleaning schedule for equipment and cases.
7. Operate equipment such as scales, slicers, ovens, fryers, and case cutters, and be familiar with their use.
8. Understand weights and measures standards and the proper use of containers and packaging materials.
9. Perform price changes as requested.
10. Assist customers verbally and physically as needed.
11. Follow recipes and keep company recipes confidential.
12. Perform freshness checks and recondition products as necessary.
13. Operate the hydraulic baler.
14. Perform cleaning functions such as sweeping and mopping.
15. Operate telephones and intercoms, practicing proper telephone etiquette.
16. Follow all company policies outlined in the employee handbook.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
