Assist and support the Accounting Department by generating and posting journal entries, performing balance sheet account reconciliations, reviewing reports, researching invoices, supporting special projects, and performing miscellaneous clerical and accounting tasks.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Generating and posting journal entries (90%).
  2. Performing balance sheet account reconciliations (10%).

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

a) Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

b) Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Meet deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to work hours to meet deadlines.

c) Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

d) Job Experience

  • Accounting-related technical training or a 2-year degree preferred.
  • 1 year of accounting experience preferred.

Experience will be accepted in lieu of the education requirement unless there is a legal stipulation.
