Job summary

GamblingCareers.com in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an Income Auditor to support Revenue Accounting in the Finance department. You will enter daily revenue data, prepare journal entries, track coupons, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with laws and company controls.

Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and an Associate’s Degree in a related field or two years of income auditor experience. Target compensation: $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain the appropriate license.
• Associate’s Degree in related field OR two years of income auditor work and/or educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Enter daily information into revenue audit report forms and run back-up reports.
• Prepare journal entries, track coupons used on property, sort and record complimentary receipts.
• Reconcile accounts on a regular basis.
• Assist with the monitoring of all financial activities on property with respect to revenue accounting to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and controls of the company are enforced.
• Evaluate various situations with respect to revenue audits and determine how best to handle same.
• Ensure a maximum level of company-wide service and satisfaction in revenue accounting, and attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
• Hold accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
• Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
