Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a NICU Milk Tech/Clinical Assistant (NMT) in the NICU at Edgewood Hospital. The role covers day, evening, and night shifts with weekend rotation, delivering and preparing infant feeds using safe methods.

Core duties include ensuring sanitary preparation, supporting Maternal Child Health/NICU teams, and delivering compassionate care to infants and families. High school diploma and Milk Technician competency required.

Qualifications

• Education, Credentials, Licenses: High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Successful Completion of Milk Technician Competency.
• Specialized Knowledge: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver all infant feedings in NICU.
• Work day/evening/night shifts and weekends on rotation.
• Maintain safe, sanitary preparation methods.
• Demonstrate respect, dignity, and empathy to patients and families.

Job Description:

The NICU Milk Tech/Clinical Assistant (NMT) is located within Maternal Child Health Nursing Division and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position is responsible for the preparation and delivery of all infant feedings. The NMT will work day/evening and night shifts and weekends on a rotational basis, as needed. The individual will utilize safe and sanitary preparation methods. Demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
