Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is seeking a Clerical Partner for 2 East to support patient care with phones, reception, and liaison duties. The schedule runs 3pm–11:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and strong communication and customer-service skills to assist patients, families, and staff, maintain forms, and handle admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answers phones, patient calls, takes messages, and refers questions and answers to the appropriate individual.
• Maintains unit supply of forms and prepares appropriate packets for admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Monitors and orders supplies; performs computer-based functions including admission, transfer, and discharge including making follow-up appointments.
• Provides clerical support to the timely delivery of patient care and serves as a liaison among patient, family, staff, and medical staff.
