Job summary

Sonic Automotive is seeking a motivated Dealership Accounting Clerk for Mountain States Toyota in Denver, CO. This clerical role supports daily accounting operations, including deposits, AR/AP, and admin tasks in a busy dealership environment.

You’ll handle filing, contracts processing, BOL submissions, title jackets, and time-card management while ensuring accuracy and timely processing; 1–2 years accounting preferred, strong math, typing, and communication skills welcomed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with 10-key keypad and typing accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good interpersonal and oral communication abilities.
• Basic accounting knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Filing and scanning documents.
• Submit and track contracts to banks for funding.
• Keep Contracts in Transit average under five days.
• Send BOLs to the corporate office.
• Prepare title jackets.
• Answer calls as needed.
• Manage time cards.

Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented accounting clerk (Clerical) to help our dealership accounting staff.This position involves supporting daily accounting operations, including handling deposits, accounts receivable and payable, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Filing/Scanning
• Submit and track Contracts to banks for funding
• Keep our Contracts in Transit average under 5 days
• Send in BOL to our corporate office.
• Make title jackets
• Assist with answering calls.
• Time Card Management

Preferred:

• At least 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Computer literate; accurate with 10 key pad and typing.
• Self-motivated; able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule.
• Basic working knowledge of accounting.
• Good interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Mathematical aptitude.

Required:
