Job summary

The State of Indiana's Department of Child Services in Gary, Indiana seeks a Clerical Assistant to support office operations, organize case files, maintain records, and assist staff in connecting clients with resources. Role Overview:

The Clerical Assistant supports the clerical and administrative needs of the office. You will assist with organizing case files, ensuring documentation is properly retained, and supporting staff in connecting clients to resources. This role requires a high level of collaboration and confidentiality.

This position is in Gary, Indiana, and will support staff in Lake County, and surrounding counties as needed.

The salary for this position traditionally starts at$31,668.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.

A Day in the Life:

Responsibilities include:

This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
