THE POSITION

The Department of Corrections, State Correctional Institute at Dallass seeking an organized, positive individual to provide clerical support. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 2 you will provide clerical and office support to your assigned institution. You will be responsible for filing, typing a variety of documents, and inputting data for various departments within the institution, operate office equipment and maintaining computer databases and records. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
