Indiana State Police is seeking a civilian employee to provide clerical and administrative support to the District Command staff, including Field Investigation Command. Responsibilities include data entry, records processing, mail handling, and phone support.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, strong keyboarding, proofreading, and word processing skills, and pass a background investigation. Submit work history and copies of transcripts and certificates as required.
To serve as a civilian employee of the Indiana State Police whose primary responsibility is to provide clerical and administrative support to the District Command staff, to include Field Investigation Command.
Must be a high school graduate or possess the equivalent GED. Must have strong keyboarding skills. Must have the ability to proofread documents with accuracy, as demonstrated by Departmental testing. Must possess word processing/personal computing skills. Working knowledge of general office procedures and clerical procedures used in performing specialized office duties.
Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation.
