The Clearing Analyst Intern role supports day-to-day clearinghouse operations and treasury processing, with exposure to the financial services and technology sectors in New York. The program includes weekly sessions with industry leaders, collaboration with interns, and practical experience with clearinghouse processes, Treasury, and Risk teams.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and be at least advancing to their junior year of study
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Experience with programming languages (VBA, Python, Java, SQL, PL/SQL) or data analytics tools (Tableau, Business Objects) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure that clearinghouse daily processes run smoothly (position transfers, publishing open interest, new user creations, monitoring of member reporting submissions)
• Monitor the smooth functioning of clearing member-facing systems
• Interact daily with Treasury and Risk as part of monitoring and supporting daily clearinghouse processes
• Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned
