Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Cleared Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver with Active Clearance in San Antonio, TX. This part-time role involves patrolling, customer service, and responding to security incidents while maintaining a visible presence at an aerospace/defense location.

Responsibilities include following site protocols, documenting patrols, and collaborating with site contacts. A valid DoD Secret Clearance is required, along with a valid state driver’s license and background

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access concerns, and potential hazards to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
