Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Software Systems Engineer for a cleared environment in Manassas, VA. This on-site, permanent role offers $90,000-$110,000 yearly with full benefits and growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate will integrate and validate software across multi-environment systems, working closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability in secure deployments. DoD clearance and related experience are required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance at time of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in a software/engineering field.
• 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience (internships included).
• Experience with Red Hat, Windows, and Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform software integration and validation in DevOps lifecycle processes.
• Integrate and test software deliveries, verify bug fixes, and perform regression testing across configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software integration issues including networking, virtualization, and system compatibility.
• Document test results consistent with Agile and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams on sprint planning, execution, and reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes to enhance software reliability and efficiency.
