Job summary

General Atomics Integrated Intelligence Inc. (GA-Intelligence) seeks a Cleared Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy tracking, data fusion and geospatial data management products for IC/DoD partners.

Focus is on extending capabilities into edge environments and optimizing data flows for battlefield awareness. You will join the Solutions Intelligence Department to deliver enterprise Java applications, contribute to geospatial visualization, and collaborate with multiple teams in secure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems or related field with progressively responsible software development experience.
• Strong math foundation and knowledge of networking, protocols, and data exchange formats.
• Experience developing Java code in production environments.
• Experience with AWS-hosted environments, Docker, and Kubernetes deployment.
• Experience with helm and helmfile deployments in Kubernetes.
• Experience with Linux software development and toolchains.
• Proven technical leadership and ability to guide teams and deliverables.
• Understanding of formal software engineering principles and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-wide Java applications for battlefield command and control and geospatial data management.
• Research and develop new software processing concepts for situational awareness and battlefield optimization.
• Maintain capabilities deployed to customer facilities and AWS cloud environments.
• Develop test scripts and frameworks to verify functionality and deliver high quality software.
• Communicate effectively with customers, management, and other engineering teams in secure environments.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with all laws and obligations.
• Work safely following established procedures and practices.
